On 6 May 2015, the Member for Mansfield, Mr Ian Walker MP, introduced the Liquor and Fair Trading Legislation (Red Tape Reduction) Amendment Bill 2015 as a Private Members Bill into the Queensland Parliament. The Bill was referred to the Legal Affairs and Community Safety Committee (the Committee) for detailed consideration. The Committee was to report to the Parliament on or before 14 September 2015.
