Background Paper 1 - An introduction to our review

On 23 April 2026, we released the first of a series of Background Papers.

To support the Background Paper, we have released a Fact Sheet.

We will release a Consultation Paper and Draft Exposure Bill in April 2027.

Our final report and recommendations is due to be delivered to the Attorney-General on 1 December 2027.
