The Commission aims to make implementable recommendations for reform. The Commission's impact can measured in a number of ways and this page lists key achievements.

Legislative action on reports

The information set out below provides an overview of the legislation that has been enacted following a recommendation from the Commission. The legislation may implement the Commission's recommendations in whole, in part, or with alterations. To date, over 70% of the Commission's Reports have been implemented, at least, in part. This reflects both the quality of the Commission's work but also its focus on practical implementable reforms that is respected by Government.

On 6 May 2015, the Member for Mansfield, Mr Ian Walker MP, introduced the Liquor and Fair Trading Legislation (Red Tape Reduction) Amendment Bill 2015 as a Private Members Bill into the Queensland Parliament. This Bill failed its second reading on 17 February 2016.
This Bill lapsed on the dissolution of the 54^th Parliament on 6 January 2015.
